Celebration in South Africa
Mal Fletcher visited Johannesberg, South Africa again in March, to take part in the Celebration conference run by the Rhema Bible Church
Pastors Ray and Lyndie McCauley host this huge conference every year. It draws people from around the world.
During the day, up to 5000 people attended the teaching sessions with various guests speakers and at night over 15,000 people filled the Dome Stadium to hear Bishop T.D.Jakes from the USA.
This was Mal's second visit as a speaker in this event. He shared mainly in sessions for leaders. A highlight was the Saturday youth event where 91 first time commitments to Jesus were recorded with many other people coming for prayer on other issues.
Mal says, 'The Rhema Bible Church is one of the world's truly great Christian churches. It combines a strong social conscience with a commitment to cutting edge, up front evangelism.
'My friend Warwick Ernstzen, youth pastor of this great church, has a youth group of around 4000 people and a fine leadership team. On Sunday morning these guys really know how to rock in Youth Church!'
'Please continue to pray for Pastor Ray, Lyndie and the church, as the Lord has given them great influence in the nation. His name is being honoured in South Africa.'

Thank you for such wonderful and heartfelt words about John Paul II. He stood and still stands for all that is good, and his "Voice for Life and Hope" will resound forever.
