Youth for Christ, UK has a well established reputation for innovative outreach to young people of all ages across Britain.

This year, several new initiative have been launched to further strengthen YFC's influence in schools, universities and special areas of social need.

Mal Fletcher, director of Next Wave International and Edges TV, was a featured speaker at the YFC National Staff Conference in January.

More than 350 full-time, part-time and volunteer staff gathered from across the UK for teaching, prayer and inspiration.

Other speakers included renowned author, youth evangelist and teacher Winkie Pratney and YFC director Roy Crowne.

After the event, Mal Fletcher said: 'This group of leaders are really intense when it comes to their study of the Word of God and it's implications in their leadership in the community.'

'I was impressed with their desire to discover practical applications for the leadership principles found in the Bible.'

'One of the things that impressed me most, though, was the fact that around 200 of them attended an all-night prayer meeting to seek God's favour on the generations they're reaching across the UK. There aren't too many leadership events where that's happening...'
