Hillsong Copenhagen - Wonderful!
Wonderful Copenhagen is celebrated the world over in song and is famous as a hub of design, innovation and, more latterly, TV drama.
Mal Fletcher was recently invited to speak at Hillsong Church Copenhagen and came back impressed with what he found.
 ‘Davina and I lived in Copenhagen for just under 10 years,’ Mal said. ‘Next Wave International was based there, with projects operating in countries across Europe,’
‘I still have a deep love for the city; it was a wonderful place to live and a great place for our children to spend much of their teenage years.’
‘There are many fine and generous Christian people in Copenhagen and some wonderful churches. But as with all capital cities, there remain many more who are yet to truly engage with the Christian message.’
‘What excites me about Hillsong Copenhagen, though, is its complete freshness, its commitment to trying new things and finding entirely different ways of impacting the city.’
The church is led by Pastors Thomas and Kat Hansen. Thomas is a Dane who trained for ministry in Sydney, Australia, where he met his future wife.
‘I’m very much looking forward to hopefully making another visit to Hillsong Copenhagen!’ adds Mal.
