Celebrity In The Church?

Is celebrity a problem within the church? Do we sometimes elevate church leaders in an unhealthy way?
These were just two of the questions put to Mal Fletcher, director of Next Wave International, in a wide-ranging interview on London's Premier Radio.
The new series of the popular EDGES TV programmes launched recently on Premier.tv, a Christian video-on-demand service.
Among the most popular of the programmes from previous series, still running on Premier.tv, is the film on celibacy, called 'Why Wait?'
The interviewers wanted to know why this subject rates as one of the most popular among Premier.tv viewers of EDGES.
Mal was also asked about the issue of celebrity and branding, which forms the theme for one of the new shows.
