Mal & Davina Fletcher and their family would like to thank all of the friends & partners of Next Wave International, who prayed and sent messages following the death of Mal's father, Keith Henry Fletcher, in late January.

Mal flew to Australia recently to meet with family and to conduct his father's funeral in Melbourne.

All who attended the funeral reported that they found it very moving. It was both dignified and honouring to Keith, whilst also retaining his characteristic sense of humour. It celebrated, above all else, his love for his Lord and for his large family.

Many were moved by the involvement of the family and grandchildren in the service.

Mal says, 'My father wasn't a preacher, or well-known church leader. Yet, through his great commitment to his faith, he left a powerful legacy - seven children, of whom I'm the eldest, all of whom still love and serve God in different parts of Australia and the world.'

'In a world that's enamoured of the idea that leaving behind a huge financial legacy is what counts, my father's life reminds us that leaving a legacy of faith is of much more lasting and significant value.'

Please continue to pray for the family, and especially for Mal's mother, Merle, as she now presses on without her beloved Keith.
