Oslo Jesus Church Kicks On

Oslo, Norway is a city which has long had an influence in the world that outstrips its size.
Yet it is a city that is currently thriving with new development; with new belts of construction sprinkled across the city and young adults developing old areas.
In the middle of all this the Jesus Church, Oslo is growing in size and influence. Led by pastors Stephan and Anna Christiansen, Jesus Church who has grown in the past four years to several hundred people, of all ages, with a healthy group of young professionals among them.
Mal Fletcher recently visited the church as a guest speaker for the third time in as many years. After his visit, he reported that the church is in fine form, with a great sense of anticipation about its growing influence in the community.
"You don't have to spend long in Jesus Church," said Mal, "to get the impression that this group of people is destined for real influence in its city and beyond."
"The leadership here have a vision not just for the city, which is their primary focus, but also for Europe as a whole."
"This style is definitely contemporary, but the outlook is future-minded and prophetic. I believe we are all going to hear great things about Jesus Church, Oslo in years to come."
The church is linked with the Europe-wide youth movement called Jesus Revolution and with New Generation, a high school ministry, both of which were pioneered by Stephan Christiansen.
