Hillsong London Grows In Recession

The Hillsong Church, London is now recognized by many as one of Europe's largest and fastest growing churches.
Yet, the people of the church are more committed than ever to extending the reach of the Christian message - across London, Europe & the world.
Last weekend, Mal Fletcher visited the church again, speaking at three services over the day, two of them in the renowned Dominion Theatre.
'In times of recession, tough times,' said Mal, 'Christians need to rediscover the enormous resources God has placed right under their feet.'
'This is not a time for crying to heaven for rain; it's time to re-dig some wells that are already at our feet.'
'For example, rediscovering the power of thanksgiving can totally transform our lives, giving a completely new, more objective and opportunistic view on our problems.'
Pastor Gary Clarke, senior pastor of the church, referred to Mal as 'one of the intellectuals in God's kingdom, someone who helps us see what the big issues are, so that we can better relate to our world.'
