ALC Bradford - Euro Leaders In Training

Not so long ago, young European leaders needed to travel to the other side of the world for quality, cutting-edge leadership training. But not any more...
Mal Fletcher recently revisited the ALC Academy in Bradford, UK and found a school that is attracting some great young leadership talent from across Europe.
'This leadership academy has the potential now to become one of the premier Christian leadership institutes for Europe,' says Mal, 'raising up leaders who have both the knowledge and the creative culture to extend the Kingdom in every sphere of life.'
'When I first visited this academy, a few years back,' said Mal, 'I mentioned that it would be wonderful to see this become a major training ground not just for UK students but for people from across Europe generally.'
'Even then, the leadership under director Stephen Matthew, had that vision but there were only a handful of non-UK students.'
'Now, though, a good section of the class are from northern and eastern Europe - and they're quality people.'
Mal also re-visited the Abundant Life Church, headed by Pastor Paul Scanlon and spoke on engaging the future. Mal spoke at both the Bradford and Leeds campuses.
After the visit he said: 'I always enjoy my visits to ALC. The people are so engaged with the message I bring - it's a product of the quality teaching they receive week in and week out.'
