Edge Church International Wins Civic Plaudits

The Edge Church International group of churches states that its mission is to share a message of hope, truth and love.
If community plaudits and the growth of its congregations are anything to go by, it is fulfilling that mission.
The church at the centre of the network, Edge Church in Adelaide, Australia, was recently awarded the Community Partnership Award from the Department for Correctional Services in Australia. The award recognises the network's commitment to providing much-needed community services and support.
Under the leadership of Pastor Danny Guglielmucci, a long-time friend of Next Wave International, the network is spreading to influence centres well beyond Australia's shores.
Mal Fletcher recently visited the growing centre in Bristol, UK, to speak to a Sunday service and found a group of people committed to making a positive difference to their community and region.
Mal reports that under the leadership of Pastors Jason and Kim Gowland, Edge Church Bristol is moving forward with a future-friendly attitude and a willingness to positively engage change in the community.
'Each time I've visited this church, in its short 5-year history, I've been aware of a sense of fresh opportunity. I'm looking forward to seeing where that leads in the next 2-3 years.'
The Bristol church recently opened an excellent new facility, designed with serving community needs in mind.
