E:y:E 99 - A Hit Again

For the 5th time, 60 of Europe's key emerging leaders met together for their annual time of Relationship-Building, Resourcing, and Prophetic Sharing.
Special guests this year included:
- Winkie Pratney (author, youth speaker, USA & New Zealand)
- Stuart Bell (Leader, Ground Level church network, UK)
- John Angelina (Gospel Life Centre, Munich Germany)
In opening the event, Mal Fletcher said, "It is time for us as Christian leaders to become generational in our thinking. Livingstone wrote in his diaries that he was, 'working for a glorious future' which he was 'not destined to see'. We need to have that kind of long-term thinking if we are to really build the Kingdom of God in Europe and become a people of influence again."
Invited leaders came from countries including: England, Wales, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Iceland - and even a few from New Zealand, Canada and the U.S.!
The feedback, which is still coming in, suggests that this was the very best EyE meeting to date. Plans are now on the drawing board for next year's 2000 event - possibly in Amsterdam, God willing.
