EDGES 6 Nears Completion

Series six of the award-winning EDGES with Mal Fletcher TV series is nearing completion.
The programmes in this unique magazine documentary series present positive Christian worldview responses to issues including ‘The Cashless Society’, ‘Fuelling the Future’, ‘The Genetics Revolution’, ‘Warfare in the Age of Hi-Tech’ and ‘Crime and Punishment’.
There are ten programmes in the new series of EDGES which is set for release to broadcasters in January 2007.
The series has been filmed in Europe, the UK and Australia.
In keeping with the high standards set by earlier series of EDGES, each of the 30 minute films combines high-end production values with substantial comment in an interesting and intriguing format.
Comment pieces by presenter and producer Mal Fletcher are tied in with vox pops, expert interviews and much more.
On the new series, Mal says: ‘This will be our best to date, without a doubt. We’ve spent more time on it and we’ve pulled together a truly global production team, with unit producers contributing parts of the show from around the world.’

The series is currently in post-production in Denmark, with a little final shooting being done in London.
An EDGES book series will complement the TV shows. Watch the EDGES website for developments on this in coming months.
EDGES has recently started broadcasting into Turkey and Indonesia, two of the world’s leading Muslim nations. Mal adds: ‘It’s great to be able to present a Christian worldview on issues (not preaching) with Muslim friends in these nations.’
