Mega-Monday is the media's name for the expected biggest ever day of online shopping in the UK. Retail experts project that people will spend £222,000 per minute throughout the day.

But what impact does online shopping have on those who are already over-extended financially, or near the edge of their credit facility? What can consumers do to stay on the right side of the red line when it comes to online Christmas shopping?
