The city of Cape Town, South Africa, was for many years closely associated with the infamous prison on Robben Island, just a short distance off its shores.

But Cape Town is now a place where people are experiencing freedom, through the work of growing churches like the Atlantic Christian Assembly.

Mal Fletcher was recently the headline speaker at the LIFE Conference sponsored by ACA. Pastors Anthony and Desiree Liebenberg and their team produced a world-class event that was attended by people from across the region and the nation.

Mal said, 'I went to Robben Island on my first morning in Cape Town and seeing the place where Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years was very moving for me. But even more moving was seeing how God worked through this great conference, inspiring people to become the influencers of their world. People were saved and Christians were equipped for greater things. ACA has a strong community focus and a multi-faceted vision. It is becoming a major church in this part of South Africa. It has big things ahead.'
