Australian Media
During his month-long speaking tour of Australia, Mal Fletcher gave a number of media interviews based around recent world events and the launch in Australia of his books Making God Famous and The Pioneer Spirit.
Radio stations and one magazine requested interviews, in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart. Some of the interviews also featured discussion of Mal's latest book, just released in paperback form, The Future is X.
Mal said: 'The growing interest in all of the books and the EDGES DVDs is very pleasing for us, as we have invested so much energy and money in providing these information-rich resources. We'd especially appreciate the help of our Aussie friends in spreading the word about them, via websites and buzz!
'I was pleased also to give comment on recent events in London, particularly relating to the bombings. There is a growing interest in Australia about affairs in Europe -- and, within the church, a rising understanding of the need for a new breed of Christian outreach to the nations of the region. As yet, that interest has not led to too much in the way of on-the-ground work, or financial backing for major projects in Europe, but I believe we will see that over the next few years.'
During the tour, Mal also began shooting for a new series of 5-minute TV spots which feature discussion of lifestyle issues. One of the new spots was shot in Adelaide and the remainder of the new series will be shot in Europe and made available to various TV platforms around the world which are already associated with the EDGES programmes.

Thank you for your article on Setting Your Sights on Revelation Not Human Motivation. It's rare to find a great revelation like this. I will keep checking here every month for your leadership series.

I really really value the Daily Recharge. I always feel it's God's wisdom straight to whatever situation I'm facing. I'm so grateful to God that you've brought such awesome encouragement over the years & for committing your life to it.

Hi Mal, Re: megachurch church vs a more organic model: I know God works regardless of how we think he should but it seems that the organic way is more appealing to the average person than the marketing of Jesus...
