23,000 At Amsterdam Event
The Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam was recently the venue for one of the most exciting Christian outreach and celebration events in Europe this year.
Mal Fletcher joined with Hillsong United and others for this unique presentation of the Gospel, which drew upwards of 23,000 people for the evening session alone.
The event celebrated the Centenary of the Pentecostal movements in the Netherlands and seven major church denominations worked together on it.
Pastor Peter Sleebos, overseeing the event, described it as 'mega-church'. He added: 'We are thankful for the blessed celebration of 100 year of Pentecost in Holland. Everybody is still speaking about it.'
More than 5000 mainly young people also attended a concert in the main square in Amsterdam.
