Awesome Vision At Hillsong London
Hillsong Church, London continues to grow in both its size and its capacity to help people.
Each Sunday, more than 8000 people join together for services across three venues, in the popular west-end of London, and in Surrey and Paris.
Last Sunday, Mal Fletcher preached there again over three sessions, bringing a powerful message on 'The Awesome Truth About Vision.'
'So much is said and written about vision,' said Mal, 'that it almost seems superfluous to offer anything more on the subject.'
'But Proverbs 29:18, written almost 3000 years ago, confronts us with a totally revolutionary concept of what vision might be.'
'It refers to much more than goal-setting, or to-do lists. It speaks of "redemptive revelations of God", without which people lead undisciplined, misguided and wasteful lives.'
Pastor Gary Clarke, leader of the church, has built a strong leadership team of young men and women who are committed to changed their city and their world for Christ.
He described the message as a prophetic word to the church, in line with a theme running through the church this year.
On Sunday, Feburary 24, Hillsong Church London will record its latest worship CD and DVD. The DVD alone will be produced by some of Britain's finest and most respected music video people (production & lighting), who have committed to the project simply because they feel they'd like to do it.

I absolutely agree with you Mal on the danger of elevating of our leaders. There is something in man to want 'a king'. It's present in our current celebrity culture. It's curious when we see it in the world and it's pathetic when we see it in Christendom.
