Alpha: A Key To Growth In Copenhagen
Mal Fletcher recently preached in the Copenhagen Pentecostal Church, with great results.
Many people came to Christ in the Sunday morning service. This church, a Core Partner with Next Wave International™, has seen very good growth in the past year, particularly through its ongoing Alpha courses.
These courses are advertised on TV and in buses throughout the city and they are attracting people from all walks of life, who are seriously hungry for spiritual things.
Mal commented that, 'Twenty years ago, Danes would have been considered among the most materialistic and rationalistic people on earth.'
'The Spirit of God has definitely brought a change; people today are hungry for spiritual reality and open to the gospel as never before.'

Re the Bridgend suicides: This is a horrible tragedy for this town. The promise and excitement these young people have missed of college, getting married, children, having a career, being a grandparent, traveling the world... Where is the parental involvement in all this?

Mal, did you start out as a journalist? You are one of the most naturally gifted writers whose works I have had the pleasure of reading. I just love your succinct way of delivering words that paint a captivating picture.
