** EMERGENCY APPEAL **
Next Wave Internation is launching today an Emergency Appeal to help keep its mission going.
Speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees for NWI, Pastor Clive Urquhart, leader of the Kingdom Faith Network of Churches, said: 'In the 20 year history of this pioneer mission to Europe, we have never made an emergency appeal for financial help.'
'Without help from people who love this mission, led by Mal Fletcher, it may not be able to continue to fulfill its mission and purpose. As things stand, it will not continue beyond the next 4 months.'
'This would represent a huge loss to local churches, marketplace ministries and Christian outreach in Europe.'
NWI is asking if you and/or your church, business, organisation, young adults group would make a one-off donation to help keep the doors of Next Wave open.
Pastor Clive Urquhart adds: 'This mission works in some highly specialised areas which do not always produce finances - in international mainstream media, for example.'
'The recession across Europe has also made a great difference not only to the support available from churches, but to the way churches engage with mission generally.'
