Europe: A History Norman Davies
What can I say about this wonderful volume?! It's one of the all-time classics on the history of Europe, even though it was written just 10 years ago. With his enormous volume of source materials and an engaging writing style, Davies' book has surpassed any other I've read on Europe's history from ancient times through to the present. To be honest, this is a book I'm still reading, piece-by-piece, a little at a time. It's huge. I appreciate the way Davies has given Christianity its rightful place in the development of European culture. I can't speak highly enough of this one, so I'd better leave it there. Oh, BTW, this is not airplane reading -- even the paperback is heavier is almost as heavy as my small notebook PC...

I'm 21 & I'd just like to say what an excellent programme you've created, in EDGES. In a world where image is everything, a lack of excellence often distracts people from the main point. Ben, United Kingdom
Just wanted to thank you for your fantastic talks at Faith Camp. I've been going for years and have heard many speakers. I found you very refreshing from the "norm", whilst highly entertaining. Your TV programmes helped my wife in her early development as a Christian. Tim, UK
Mal, I so enjoy your teachings. Europe truly is the dark continent. Eric
